The BEST Grilling Recipes for the 4th of July

Oh ‘Merica. It’s that time of year to celebrate the bounty of blessings of living in our great country! In honor of this, my most favorite of holidays, I give you my Best Grilling Recipes for the 4th of July! From apps to sides, main course to dessert… you make this menu and your reputation will explode. Not unlike the fantastically festive fireworks, the praise for your food will be loud, colorful (if you’ve got the right friends), and will bring smiles to the faces of all who are within a few miles radius. Happy 4th of July, everybody. May God bless America.

Appetizer:

Ultimate Smoked Buffalo Chicken Wings 3The Ultimate Buffalo Chicken Wings– Just a hint of smoky flavor under the classic Buffalo flavor with a beautiful crispy skin. Wings are always a home run when it comes to appetizers.

finished jalapenos
Grilled Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Jalapenos (AKA The Bomb Bombs)- Only make these if you are prepared to make them for every party you are ever invited to. Ever. These little morsels have the power to bestow infamy on any who prepare them. Don’t take that responsibility lightly, my friends.

Sides:

bacon mac n cheese forkBacon Mac and Cheese– Sometimes you just gotta embrace that Americana and go all in with your sides. Creamy, cheesy, loaded with bacon and baked to a perfect golden brown. This wins the blue ribbon in the mac and cheese contest.

Simple Grilled Zucchini 1 heygrillhey.comSimple Grilled Zucchini- You need veggies, right? Skip the boring plastic crudite platter and bring something people actually want to eat instead of feel obligated to eat!

Entrees:

Pulled Pork SandwichSimple Pulled Pork– Classic. Simple. Delicious. This is pretty much a no-fail go to when I’m feeding a crowd! Bonus, you get to make awesome food with the leftovers like Pulled Pork Huevos Rancheros and the Smoky Cuban Sandwich

Bunch of sliced brisketThe Perfect Brisket– Good brisket is the Cadillac of meats. Done right, this meat will melt in your mouth like beautiful beefy butter. I’ve got you covered step by step, just read through the posts I’ve written and you will be a BBQ hero!

3-2-1 Fall off the Bone Ribs3-2-1 Ribs– Because, ribs. Fall off the bone, finger licking good. Please just make these.

Dessert:Strawberry Bruschetta with Honey Mascarpone 2

Strawberry Bruschetta with Honey Mascarpone- Sweet and caramelized crostinis are topped with creamy mascarpone cheese and a bright and fresh strawberry/grilled peach/basil concoction that will have your friends begging for the recipe!
