Two thousand nineteen was also a fun year for us on the business side of life. We hired our first 2 full-time employees to help us keep up with the business (and let Todd and I focus on some other fun projects), we launched my Signature Series of rubs and sauces in the Hey Grill Hey Store, spent a lot of time learning the ways of YouTube and sharing new videos there each week, I competed and became a finalist on Food Network’s show, BBQ Brawl, and we spent a lot of time testing recipes and loving on our sweet kiddos. It has been an amazing 12 months, and we can’t wait to show you what’s in store for next year!

Top BBQ Recipes for 2019

We’ve compiled our heaviest hitters into a quick countdown video! As a bonus, if you watch to the end you can see some of our favorite outtakes from this year of filming. After the video, scroll through the post for direct links to our top 10 BBQ recipes for 2019.

#6: Best Sweet Rub

This next recipe is a fan favorite, and it’s no surprise it came in #6 in the top 10 of 2019. My Signature Sweet Rub is the ultimate seasoning for just about anything you’re cooking up. Beef, chicken, pork, veggies, and more taste simply amazing with a little bit of this rub sprinkled on top.

#5: Grilled Marinated Flank Steak

Steak was a popular item in 2019, and this flank steak came in at #5 on our top 10 countdown. The secret to making this flank steak suuuper awesome is in the rosemary balsamic marinade. Not only does it help to make the steak nice and tender, but it adds some incredible flavor as well.
