Ingredients

Instructions

  • Make the Greek Seasoning. In a small bowl, whisk together the oregano, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, rosemary, dill, and red pepper flakes until evenly combined. Use a fork or whisk to break up any clumps.
1 Tablespoon dried oregano, 2 teaspoons Kosher salt, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon onion powder, 1 teaspoon lemon zest, ½ teaspoon black pepper, ½ teaspoon dried rosemary, ½ teaspoon dried dill, ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Use the seasoning or store for later. For immediate use, mix in the lemon zest and use right away. For longer storage, keep the lemon zest separate and store the base blend in an airtight container in a cool, dry place for up to 2 months. Add the fresh lemon zest when you're ready to use the seasoning. You can also substitute fresh herbs for dried using the same amounts, but the fresh version should be stored in the refrigerator and used within 2-3 days.
