- 2 teaspoons sea salt
- 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon Mexican oregano
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
Mix the seasoning. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and use in chili, or on meats and vegetables, as desired.
Use and store. Use the seasoning immediately or transfer the seasoning to an airtight container. Store this rub for up to 1 month.
