Grilled Fruit Kabobs

These grilled fruit kabobs (or grilled dessert kabobs if you're in need of something extra sweet!) are the best way to finish up a backyard BBQ. Not only are they easy to make, but they're grilled in a flash and are perfect for parties.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pineapple cut into chunks
  • 1 cup peaches cut into cubes
  • 1 cup strawberries stems removed
  • 1 cup pound cake cut into 1 1/2 inch cubes
  • 1 cup doughnut holes
  • 1 cup brownie bites
  • ¼ cup coconut oil melted

Instructions

  • Preheat. Preheat your grill to 450 degrees F for direct heat grilling.
  • Assemble. Assemble your kabobs by skewering the cake, doughnuts, and desired fruits.
  • Grill. Baste your skewers on all sides with the coconut oil and place on the grill grates. Grill for 2-3 minutes per side, until the fruit and sweets are caramelized.
  • Serve. Remove from the grill and serve over ice cream or topped with chocolate sauce.
