Homemade Fiesta Rub

This homemade fiesta rub (formerly known as South of the Border Spice Rub) is the perfect seasoning when you need a kick of flavor. It has a classic taco seasoning flavor that adds just the right amount of heat to your favorite dishes.

Watch the video below to see how simple it is to throw this homemade fiesta rub together and then print or pin the recipe below to have it on hand. If you’ve never made your own seasonings, I highly encourage you to try making them every once in a while.

Most of the time the ingredients you’ll need to make most homemade seasonings are already in your cupboard, and the ability to customize each rub to your own likes and tastes is fantastic! It’s always handy to be able to decrease or increase certain ingredients to fit your particular tastes or dietary needs.

If you don’t have the time to make your own rub, I sell a similar seasoning in my store! Purchase your own Fiesta Rub today to have it delivered straight to your door! My bottled rub contains a unique mix of chilis that is harder to buy on grocery store shelves so you’ll get a bit more robust and exciting flavor.
