I had an awesome opportunity to hang out on Studio 5 (local UT lifestyle show) and share my love of grilling gadgets with loads of Utah viewers. If you’re here from the show……….. Hey!!! Thanks for stopping by! I’m so completely thrilled you’re here and I hope to see you around, especially come join the party over on Facebook. I love sharing the best of the best grilled recipes.

For this post, I’ve compiled a list of my top 7 grilling tools under $50. If you’re looking to buy a gift for a grill master or hoping to up your grilling game, look no further. Each of these products are ones that I personally own, use often, and recommend. These tools will make your life easier and improve your grilling game. Hope you love them as much as I do!

#1 Silicone BBQ Gloves $9.50

Perfect for grabbing hot things off the grill, shredding pulled pork, carrying hot pans, you get the idea. This is a must-have for the grill because they are SOOOOO easy to wash! I’ve actually thrown mine on the top rack of the dishwasher. No more ruining your fabric potholders with grimy grill mess.

#2 Stainless Steel Grilling Tool Set $35

Pick a sturdy set. This one is great because the handles are all one piece. Nowhere for the handle to crack or break! Stainless steel means it won’t rust or corrode. A few more dollars can go a long way to getting a set that will last a few years.

#3 Lodge Cast Iron Skillet Set $36.97

This is the only pan set you should ever need. It won’t be, but it should be. I have crossed over to cast iron cookware almost exclusively. The flavor of everything is infinitely better and I love how easy it is to transition from grill to stove to oven to serving. Cast iron is beautiful and durable and lasts forever! We’re talking heirloom quality here.

#4 Metal Grill Basket Set $24.99

I own and LOVE this set of 3 grill baskets. I find they are the perfect size for our family of 5 and what we need. Grill baskets are an ideal way to make grilling easier. You can throw those small, easy to lose between the grates items into a basket and grill them up alongside whatever else you’re cooking. I can also do multiple things on the grill at the same time (think mushrooms in one, shrimp in another, and broccoli in the other). Perfecto!

#5 Flexible Grilling Skewers $8-10

These things are SO COOL! If you’re into kebabs, these are the ultimate tool. You can fit so much food on each one and they are the perfect size to throw in a gallon bag with your favorite marinade. You really only need 2 skewers for a family meal.

An instant read internal thermometer will be the biggest change you can make to your grilling. When you switch from cooking for a certain amount of time to cooking for the correct internal temperature, you’ll never have undercooked or dry food again! This little ThermoPop goes with me everwhere! Mine is the lime green and I absolutely LOVE it!
